Eid al-Adha is a public holiday in Yemen, known locally as عيد الأضحى (تقديري).
In 2026 it falls on Tuesday 26 May and lasts 5 days, with a substitute day off on Sunday 31 May; in 2027 on Saturday 15 May.
It follows the lunar calendar: the dates shown are estimates and may shift by a day once the moon is sighted.
73 other countries in our calendar also have Eid al-Adha as a public holiday.
