Liberation Day is a public holiday in Albania, known locally as Dita e Çlirimit.
In 2026 it falls on Sunday 29 November, with a substitute day off on Tuesday 1 December; in 2027 on Monday 29 November.
The date is fixed, so only the weekday changes from year to year.
17 other countries in our calendar also have Liberation Day as a public holiday.
