Delhi Continues To Breath Toxic Air With Worse AQI, Smog
A thick toxic haze or 'smog' continued to hang heavy over the national capital as the air quality remained in the 'severe' category on November 8. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) shared the data, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Anand Vihar was recorded at 452, while it was at 433, 460, 382, and 413 at RK Puram, Punjabi Bagh, Sri Aurobindo Marg and Shadipur, all in 'severe' category

Delhi AQI Worsened To Very Poor Category In Delhi
In Delhi, the Air Quality Index (AQI) worsened to "very poor' category, raising concerns. Visuals from India Gate and Kartavya Path showed the extent to which smog had engulfed the city on October 23 morning. Furthermore, on October 22, Delhi AQI reported at 306, while the AQI in Gurugram was in the 'Poor' category. The Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi Government issued advisory and plan to curb the AQI worsening quality.

Mumbai Improves, Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad Records Worse AQI
The air quality showed slight signs of improvement in Mumbai which has been witnessing higher Air Quality Index (AQI) this week slipping from “good” to “moderate” category. However, the AQI still remained higher than that in Delhi while the people in the national capital woke up to a smoggy morning. Mumbai To Witness Heat In Coming Days, Says IMD
Mumbai is set to witness scorching heat as 'winter' ends in the capital city of Maharashtra. As per the IMD, the temperature in Mumbai is expected to go beyond 36 degrees celsius in the next two days, February 4 & 5. Moreover, the Air Quality Index (AQI) of the city remained in the 'poor' category, with a reading of 273, said weather experts.

Delhi Witnesses First Fog Of Season, IMD Predicts Cloudy Weather During Day
In Delhi, a thick layer of fog shrouded the national capital, lowering visibility to 350 metres in some parts of the city, on October 12. Senior scientist at the IMD RK Jenamani said this was the capital's first fog of the season with a minimum temperature of 20.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the normal. With this, the air quality index (AQI) also improved to 66, falling under "satisfactory."

Mumbai’s AQI Indicates Poor Category For The Next Two Days
Mumbai reported an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 286 on May 20, after registering an AQI of 309 on May 19. An AQI between 201 and 300 is considered "poor." Except for Malad and Mazgaon, which had "very poor" AQI, all of the remaining locations had poor AQI. The AQI is expected to continue in this range for the following two days.

Delhi Records Above Normal, 34 Degree C In Past 24 Hours: IMD
The India Meteorological Department said that Delhi to see clear skies and a maximum temperature of 34° Celsius on March 15. Safdarjung and Lodhi Road recorded a maximum temperature of 33° and 34° Celsius which was four and five degrees above normal. Meanwhile, IMD has predicted a 2-3 degrees rise in maximum temperatures in the central India next few days. Notably, the AQI of Delhi degraded in the 'poor' category.

Delhi's Air Quality Remains Under 'Moderate' Category; AQI Stands At 133
Delhi AQI on March 1, was in the 'moderate' category, with an AQI of 133, according to the Central Pollution Control Board. Meanwhile, for the next two days, the air quality of Delhi will remain in the 'satisfactory' category. However, due to low wind speed, the air quality of Delhi will degrade to 'moderate' category eventually, SAFAR said. Notably, Delhi's minimum temperature is expected to go up to 26° Celsius.

Delhi Air Quality With 149 Remains Under 'Moderate' Category: SAFAR
Delhi AQI on February 21, was in the 'moderate' category, with an AQI of 149, according to the SAFAR. The IMD said that due to low wind speed the air quality of Delhi will slightly degrade. Meanwhile, on February 22, the air quality is expected to improve due to high wind speed and on February 23, it will degrade to the 'poor' category. Notably, Delhi's minimum temperature was 10° Celsius.

Delhi Air Quality Under 'Poor' Category With 272 AQI: CPCB
Delhi AQI on February 17, was in the 'poor' category, with an AQI of 272, according to the Central Pollution Control Board. The SAFAR said that due to low wind speed the air quality of Delhi will remain in the 'poor' category and is expected to improve over the weekend. Delhi's minimum temperature on February 1, remained at 9° Celsius and on February 18, the temperature will stay the same.
