IIT-Madras Honours Its Alumini Who Was Part Of The Historic Chandrayan -3 Mission
In this event 'Over the Moon with Team Chandrayaan 3' held in campus on Sunday, top scientists and engineers from ISRO interacted with students from IIT Madras and various government schools and city college students. During the occasion many scientists including Dr. S.Unnikrishnan Nair who completed PhD from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and is the Director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre(VSSC), ISRO.

ISRO Scientist Behind Chandrayaan 3 Final Countdown Passed Away
N Valarmathi, the Indian Space and Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist and the iconic voice behind the agency's rocket countdown launches, passed away at the age of 64 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. According to reports, she suffered a heart-attack on September 3. Chandrayaan-3 was her final countdown announcement in July. Besides Chandrayan 3, she was project director of RISAT-1, India's first indigenously-developed Radar Imaging Satellite.

ISRO Shares Moon Surface Image On 'X', 2 Days Before Landing: Chandrayaan 3
Fresh images of the Moon emerged as the Indian Space Research Organization, shared the images officially, two days before the Vikram Landing on the Moon's surface, under Chandrayaan-3 Mission. "Here are the images of Lunar far side area captured by the Lander Hazard Detection and Avoidance Camera (LHDAC)," wrote ISRO on 'X' formerly known as Twitter. The Chandrayaan-3 is expected to make a landing on August 23 at 6:40 pm.

Chandrayaan 3: Vikram Land Sends Moon Surface, To Make Soft Landing On Aug 23
he Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) unveiled videos recorded by Chandrayaan 3's Vikram lander on Friday. One of the videos, filmed by the Lander Position Detection Camera (LPDC) on August 15 while attached to the propulsion module, provides a clear view of Moon craters. Another video, captured by the Lander Imager (LI) Camera-1, offers a glimpse of Earth, albeit in a smaller form.

In the latest update of the Chandrayaan-3 Mission, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has said that the Chandrayaan-3 mission will enter into the Moon's sphere of influence on August 5 after leaving Earth earlier this week. Chandrayaan 3 Successfully Launches From Sriharikota Space Centre
Chandrayaan 3 finally launched successfully from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. With the end of the 25 hour 30-minute countdown, the ISRO scientists launched the GSLV rocket, which is the third attempt of India to make a smooth and easy landing on the surface of the Moon, on August 23. If successful, India will become the fourth nation to reach the Moon's surface.

Chandrayaan 3 Launch, Indian Mission To Take Halt At Moon
ISRO is finally ready to launch Chandrayaan 3, the third attempt to make a smooth landing on the surface of the Moon. The operation for the launch started on July 13, 1:05 P.M., with a countdown of 25-hours, 30-minutes. the countdown will be used to fill the rockets with cryogenic fuel and the under the ISRO team. If successful, India will be amongst US, China and the Soviet Union.
